An interesting article... I think "EVIL" is in the mind and perspection of the beholder. Religion applies an indoctrinated bias to define evil. This bias often seems based entirely of fear and ignorance of symbolism; contextual meaning and actions are ignored.

For example: Certain TV shows and MANY MANY paranormal teams want to throw around the term "demon" every time they feel threatened. A demon is something that has evil intent. However, I believe there are a lot of things out there that can harm us, but have no true evil intent.
I call them "paranormal wildlife". I am still learning exactly (term used loosely) what they really are, but essentially my understanding is that their only intent is self-preservation. They could care less whether they hurt us. One I believe I encountered was described as a "spiritual tick".
One analogy is a lion in the wild. Is a lion evil? Of course not...unless you happen to be an antelope of course and then your perception will tell you otherwise.
But as the article alludes to, so much of what people perceive as evil is simply their lack of understanding. Some Christisans think psychics are evil? I can find you plenty that think Mormons are evil.
Some of the most deeply religeous people I have met are knee deep into the paranormal and mediums and psychics and auras and so-on.
It's like most other parts of both the paranormal and life in general. The important thing is to get the facts and then THINK FOR YOURSELF.
