  I'm not really sure what's going on, but I assure you, a few other people feel the same way care you do Charles. It's your opinion on the site and you shouldn't have to leave because of it.

  More than a few times now I have noticed that newly organized paranormal sites go through a growing stage where personalities clash. Those of us with the best intentions find ourselves in the middle of assorted disagreements. Some people feel hurt and many people leave.
  
  Maybe the group you wanted to start only need exist figuratively rather than formally. If you stay, the intent of your group lives on.

  Charles, stick around. The goals and motives behind your group sound sincere and well intentioned. Some might have thought it was not for them for whatever reason, and may have come across a little "gruff" in their replies, It's just that so much abuse has gone on over the last month that many don't want further distractions and just want to get back to enjoying the site and the MAJORITY of the members who are friendly and supportive.
  
  Hang around...it's gonna get better...I am convinced.

  Being a new member, seeing posts of this nature have me wondering if I have made the right decision to join this site. Malcontent and squabbling among members is beneath me. Is this a continuing problem on this site?

  Chester in all candor, it has been a problem. But from what I have heard it is a COMMON problem with such sites. It seems that in the broad field of the paranormal there are a lot of people who think their way is the only way and that everyone else is wrong, instead of wanting to compare notes and then both inform and learn from others.
  
  I think that there are a lot more of us that want the site to become a true community than there are malcontents. I hope you will give it a chance. The cream always rises to the top (if you can get people to stop stirring it).

  Charles accept my apology if I came across to blunt. I just respectfully declined your offer to join the group and explained why. I would have sent you a message instead of posting on your profile but your messages are closed.Your ideals were good and I live by them on here. It is just my opinion that any kind of intervention without authority would only stir up matters more. I know you had good intentions and was sincere about the group. Most of the members on here has the same goals as you.I think that you should reconsider and stay.I feel that you are an asset to this site. If I said anything out of the way and made you feel like you needed to leave then I am truly sorry.

  To Bill :actually it had nothing to do with you. I understood and respected your decision. It was the 23 seperate messages from about 9 people the next morning, that were not contacted and ranged from mildly reproving to down right nasty. I was called everything from a snitch, to usurper, to a worthless piece of s***. I won't call anyone out. They know who they are and I firmly believe in Karma. But rest assured my friend it honestly had nothing to do with your response. Be that as it may, I was "counselled" to reconsider, and have decided to, if for nothing more than to piss off those whom think that they can run roughshod over me and others.

  Charles...I REALLY think you should forward some of those messages to Ron. Reporting bad behavior is not "snitching" and trying to create a good atmoshere does not make you a "usurper". And nothing you said that I've seen should draw any type of personal attack.
  
  These people are slowly being weeded out. Hang in there, friend.
