  Okay, so I have been wondering, what can you do if you investigate a place that has wifi? I mean a lot of places nowadays have wifi.

  The wifi tends to interfere with Kll and other stuff. Any ideas or equipment that may help out in this situation? What would be the best for this?

  Thank you for any input. I do not know much about wifi and such.

  That's precisely why in invested in the Trifield and (since your last visit) a MEL meter. These are filtered agains RF interference.
  
  On the other hand...what's the big deal if you get a false positive on a K2? I am a firm believer in ghosts and their ability to create/cause EM fields but finding an EM field means very little to me unless there is some other phenomena associated with it (cold spot...shadow...bleeding walls).
  
  So basically, I will keep using my meters that can be tripped by RF, but consider their readings more of a reference point or validation of other phenomena than anything else.

  I never rely on meters and equipment a lot. Like Wes I am a firm believer in ghosts/spirits. Just because a meter says that something is there doesn't make it true. There are to many things that can affect meters. I go by my feelings and if something is there then I rely on me knowing it without and meters. Its my belief hat people only use equipment to try and prove to someone else that something is there.. I never set out to prove anything except myself.

  If WiFi is interfering with a KII there are bigger problems at the location that may explain any perceived paranormal activity. KII meters are designed to measure 30 to 20,000 Hz (household electricity and human hearing), WiFi is in the range of 2,400,000,000 Hz.
  
  None-the-less, as Wes suggested, an EMF meter with effective filtering (like the Trifiled) is best if the budget allows for such a device.

  Thank you so much! I do go by my feelings also and glad to hear that others do also but I was just wondering about the wifi thing for equipment due to it happening to another investigator at a location here in town.

  As an experiment tonight I set up my K2 next to my WIFI router. I observed on and off for about an hour or so and did not notice any spikes. That was a positive sign for me. I had never considered that WIFI would cause any false positive readings. -Jeremy from DnR

  Jeremy. In a controlled setting with a properly configured router you may not see anything. The problem is that the K2 has been known to spike at various RF signals and now it has become "suspect" amongst many investigators. Because of its history I always consider my K2 more of a reference device (as described above) or a communication tool
  
  Because it is SO sensitive, might be why it is so popular as a communication tool. One could argue that you don't know if it a ghost or a cell phone you are talking to, but I would argue that I am giving the spirits every chance to communicate and for all I know they can manipulate frequencies in that range.
  
  The point is...valuable tool....just don't trust it blindly.
