| There are thousands of sites on the Internet which deal with various aspects of the paranormal, each in their own way and with their own agendas and formats. This is both legal and natural and we encourage everyone to visit and participate in the web sites where they find like-minded travelers. |
| We understand that a skeptic or cynic may find posts on this this site that they find unscientific or totally irrational. We understand that people who hold certain belief systems will find posts that they find wrong-minded or misguided. |

| In the process of creating the community we envision, what some might say is a strange thing happened. We found that many of the people who want this type of free exchange of ideas also enjoy the friendship of others that seek the same. |
| These friendships frequently manifest as jokes, games, and good-natured banter on our message boards. Unfortunately, some feel that any serious interest in the paranormal should preclude a site from providing such an environment. Once again we respect that view and encourage those people to continue their quest. |
| To encourage the free exchange of ideas that we seek, we do have to enforce a certain amount of decorum and civility. Those whose intent is to insult or degrade this site, its members, or the opinions and beliefs thereof will have their account and access to the site suspended. Spirited debate will always be encouraged, but one need not be disagreeable to disagree. |
| Finally, we do not respect any accusations of commercialism. This site, beyond its core mission, is an openly commercial venture. We seek advertising revenue from what we judge to be appropriate sources. To obtain this revenue, as should be expected, we will do what we feel is necessary and appropriate in cooperation with the available sources in our field to promote and optimize the site’s traffic. |
